The Ak saga: Boobs in the forest

To clarify, "Boobs" is one of Akrabu's alts. An interesting feature of this character is he does not train "shields" or "bind wounds", this means he appears weaker then he actually is. I might be wrong on that. In MMO slang he would often be called a "pure".

Unfortunately for me and Oreb, Boobs didn't give us time to discuss the probabilities of killing him, and promptly slipped off into the forest instead.

So we went to kill the White Wolf.

In the second-to-last picture you might work out one of our tactical blunders. The right thing to do in this situation would be to have at least two of us stand at the door, blocking his escape. What happened instead was that we all blurted towards him, allowing Akrabu to circle around and run out of the cave.

It's interesting to imagine what a large war would look like in this game. Whether it would consist of a disorganised rabble huddling together, or if some groups will be disciplined enough to be assigned to blocking parts of the battlefield, even if they're being tempted by a routing army dropping items everywhere.

The Ak saga: Downtime casualties.

Hate was walking around nude. I asked him if he was killed.

The Ak saga: More hunting

Another popular subject of debate was who gets what loot.

The codes can be confusing, they were never actually clarified or agreed upon. My best attempt at translations are below.

Code Red: Akrabu is online.
Code Orange: Akrabu is online
Code 1: Akrabu is online
Code 2: Akrabu is online
AK!!!: Akrabu is online.
Plan A: Let's try to mob Akrabu, if we have enough people.
Plan B: Let's try to mob Akrabu, if we have enough people.

The Ak saga: Meeting of the five generals

The generals met up inside a vault to discuss the war. A neat feature of the army was that everyone started off at the highest rank. In theory this would stop people complaining about relative status.

Not all of us were invited inside at first.

The first topic of discussion was, once again, leadership. The "everybody's a general" took some getting used to.

After Hate accepted the democracy, we took a vote on the next issue. Should Salmon be admitted inside, or hunted and killed?

Narrowly escaping death in a 3 to 2 vote, Salmon was admitted into The Resistance.

We decided against the noob-killing hazing ritual mentioned above. Vanner often reminded us that such things were wasting time.
